Yoga = Union This is union of body, mind, and spirit. Yoga promotes long-term, and healthy functioning of the body. Stretching is part of yoga, but there are a few more components that differentiate yoga from stretching alone. These skills can be learned. Yoga utilizes calm, yet powerful movement, stillness, body awareness and the breath. You will grow in strength, endurance, cardiovascular health, and mental clarity. Your spirit will feel uplifted after each yoga practice. If you want to be fit, well, and functional throughout your life, then add yoga to your repertoire of talents. In yoga we are always students.
Private Instruction Reiki helps induce the nervous system's parasympathetic mode. This is a physiological term for the calm state of the body when the body best fights off illness, absorbs nutrients, digests, repairs tissues, sleeps well, hydrates deeply, and functions best in respect to wellness.
- Learn a routine designed for you, or co-create it, while receiving detailed tips and instructions for your unique body. Be creative with the flow of your practice after these sessions utilizing the poses we focused on, or repeat the routine as desired. In 4-6 sessions, depending on your interest and your current knowledge base, you will be empowered with a one of a kind yoga experience. We can also create multiple routines, with varying focuses, so you can pull out routine A, B, or C on any given day.
- Come in for tune ups, or regular one on one practice.
Small Classes
- I teach classes of 4-6 people who commit to 10 classes gathering once, or more, a week. Join a community class, or find a group of committed friends, and family. This is a great way to get plenty of personal attention and adjustments to hone your practice.
- Private Workshops with your friends, and family are available at request. Contact me to discuss details. These can be tailored to the needs of the group, and are a really fun way to spend time together.
- These classes will be fulfilled within a 90 minute slot agreed upon by the group and includes setup, yoga practice, meditation (if desired), and wrap up time.
Meditation Options, and Classes
- Yoga is traditionally practiced to prepare the body for prayer and meditation - like taking the dog out for a walk, yoga calms the physical needs of the body.
- Meditation can be included in any of the above options.
